Just a few housekeeping issues to wrap up Module One!
Firstly, I’ll be clearing the blogroll in the righthand column to make way for the blogs participating in Module Two. However, we’d very much like your content to be accessible for others doing the programme, as it’s full of thoughtful reflections and useful tips! We will create a list of Module One blogs on the new Module One Page so that others doing the programme in future can benefit from them. If you’re not happy for your DH23Things blog to continue to be linked from this website, do let me know.
Secondly, for those of you who would like to count your DH23Things participation towards your RCUK researcher development training requirements (or anyone else who’d like a certificate!), we can give you an official record of your participation in Module One. Once you’ve finished all seven Things in Module One, let us know by email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and we’ll send you a certificate!
Thirdly, if you want to continue with Module Two: Managing Information Online, you’re very welcome! You’ll need to re-register to let us know that you’re continuing and that you’d like your blog to be retained in the blogroll. You may also be interested in Module Three, beginning in January, which will be focussing on creating and sharing digital artefacts (such as videos, podcasts, presentations etc) for various purposes. The Modules are stand-alone, so you can complete whichever are most relevant to your work at the moment.
Thanks for all your hard work on Module One! I’ve really enjoyed reading your blogs, and have learned a lot from the wealth of reflections, advice and tips there! I hope you’ve enjoyed taking part in DH23Things so far, and that you’ve found it a helpful way to develop an effective online presence. Whether you continue to blog or not, I hope to see you online in future!
